“Come Ahead” is Primal Scream’s sixth studio album and contains 11 new songs; allowing the listener to hear some of Gillespie’s of most heartfelt lyrical performances to date. The songwriting process started in September 2019, pausing the tradition that had been developed before, where the lyrics came first and not the music. Gillespie continued to create music to an extent and got help from producer David Holmes and thus finished the album in Belfast, London and LA.

This is their first record as five-piece band with Johnny Borrell, Bjorn Ågren, Carl Dalemo, and Andy Burrows since 2008. Popular for songs such as ‘Golden Touch’ and ‘America,’ the English band Razorlight releases the single ‘Scared Of Nothing’ with the album on its way out, although the band was reforming only for some live shows in 2021.

With indie-rock as the new fashion in the sound of the 2000s, Razorlight was one of its significant enshrinees.
