Joe Browns was founded in 1998 by Simon Brown and was inspired by friends drinking beers at Ty Coch Inn, Morfa Nefyn, North Wales after a great day wave-riding. They were happy, laughing, and I saw them as if they did not have a care in the world – they came from the sea, their hair still wet with salt, and they were enjoying themselves to the max. That, therein lay the essence of Joe Browns: It has to be FREE, SPONTANEOUS, and FUN!
