Opening on the intersection of 63rd and 1st in New York in 1965, the original Fridays had the ageless promise, “In here, it’s always Friday.”. Inspired by the Barnum & Bailey Circus and driven to stage the “greatest show on earth,” a red and white-striped sensation was created.
